I am still experimenting with encaustic wax and India inks.
In this video, I taped together four 6" x 6" boards, to make a little series. I then painted the ink directly on the boards, to stain them. I am melting a piece of white encaustic wax on top of the ink, with my heat gun, just to see what happens. It is pretty spectacular! I like how the wax spreads out, but doesn't completely cover over the ink, you can still see the colours underneath.
