'In Between Memories', original painting

This painting incorporates old oddments of watches. The pieces I used looked to be from an order from a local watchmaker that was never collected by the owner. What happened to the owner? Why was the watch never reclaimed? These little pieces of a stranger’s history are hidden in the layers.
